Usage Instructions

1. Unplug the washing machine from the main AC electrical outlet and shut off water supply taps before servicing.

2. Remove the top cabinet cover and slide out the detergent dispenser drawer.

3. Unscrew the front control console fasteners and carefully unclip the console panel.

4. Disconnect the multi-pin wiring harnesses and ribbon cables from the existing display PCB.

5. Release the plastic retaining tabs to remove the old board.

6. Snap the new LG EBR87100881 / EBR89401002 display board into the console housing, reconnect all wiring plugs securely, reattach the console and top cover, and run a test cycle.
