Usage Instructions

1. Unplug the washing machine from the main AC electrical outlet and turn off water supply valves before starting repairs.

2. Pry off the small plastic center cap in the middle of the old wash plate using a small flathead screwdriver.

3. Unscrew the central retaining bolt holding the pulsator to the transmission gear shaft.

4. Pull the old pulsator plate straight up and out of the drum cavity (use two flathead screwdrivers on opposite sides for leverage if stuck).

5. Clean out any lint, sand, or detergent sediment from the exposed drum floor and gear shaft splines.

6. Align the splines of the new LG 5845EU1002Q pulsator over the drive shaft, push down flush, re-install and tighten the center screw firmly, and snap the center cap back into place.
